About Us

Conestoga Country Kitchens' reputation for quality and excellence extends well beyond Lancaster County.

Employing talented professionals and working with quality subcontractors ensures a great customer experience before, during, and long after a project. Under the leadership of brother-and-sister owners Ryan Ebersole and Rosalyn Ebersole Gehman, Conestoga Country Kitchens continues a legacy of individually designed and professionally finished custom cabinetry started by their father.

Ryan Ebersole

Ryan Ebersole

President, CEO

In 2003, after receiving an architecture degree from Thaddeus Stevens College, Ryan began working full-time for the company. At that point mostly working on job-sites as an installer, as well as spending time working in the shop. In 2006, Ryan took over the finances for the business and moved into the office. In 2015 Ryan and Rosalyn purchased the business from their father Jay Ebersole. As the business grew and more employees and contractors were added, additional responsibilities were also added. Currently Ryan oversees all aspects of the company including finances, estimating, site measuring, quality control, and installations on site.

It is not unusual to see him at your home on cabinet delivery day along with our delivery team. He wants to see all of our clients pleased with the quality of our products and the level of our service.

Rosalyn Gehman

Rosalyn Ebersole Gehman

Vice President, Kitchen/Interior Designer, Project Manager

Rosalyn graduated from Bradley Academy with an associates degree in interior design. She began working part-time at Conestoga Country Kitchens during college and moved to full-time after graduation in 1999.

She lived in Raleigh NC from 2000-2004, where she was employed by a kitchen design firm. After returning to PA in 2004, she re-entered the family business as a designer at Conestoga Country Kitchens. She transitioned to joint ownership and design/project management when Ryan and Rosalyn purchased the business in 2015.

With over 25 years of experience, Rosalyn is a reliable source to guide you through the design process and make product recommendations. Her eye for design will result in an aesthetically beautiful space which will be functional for the years to come. She will ensure a smooth process from conception to completion alongside her talented team.

Since purchasing Conestoga Country Kitchens in 2015, Rosalyn and Ryan have shifted the business focus to renovation projects instead of primarily new construction projects. They have worked to uphold the reputation that their father and founder, Jay Ebersole, has built over many years. The company has developed into a full design/management firm making a hassle free experience for our clients.

Our Skilled Team

Conestoga’s highly skilled employees take great pride in their work. Manufacturing and finishing long-lasting, top-quality cabinets is an art. While some employees have been with the company for over thirty years, there are a few “newer” employees who have been part of Conestoga’s talented team for just a few years!

When Conestoga’s team is welcomed into a family’s home for a remodel project, the team of electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters, flooring experts, and countertop professionals are integral to a successful, on-time completion. With communications and scheduling centrally managed by Conestoga, everyone operates seamlessly together, exhibiting courtesy and a clean working area daily in client homes.

Our History

Conestoga Country Kitchens founder Jay Ebersole, father to Ryan and Rosalyn, started installing cabinets in 1972 for Nauman Construction. Jay and his wife Linda founded Conestoga Country Cabinets in 1978, initially designing and installing cabinetry built by a third party. Over the years, dissatisfied with the quality and finish others produced, Jay and Linda moved the business to its current location and expanded their capabilities to include manufacturing and finishing their own cabinets.

Jay and Linda hired their first employees as their reputation brought in more work than Jay could manage single-handedly. By 1992, the business outgrown its garage home and was moved to its current location at 529 Strasburg Pike, Lancaster, PA. In this expanded facility, Conestoga Country Kitchens was able to broaden beyond design and installation to begin manufacturing completely custom cabinets in-house. Each step of the carpentry, woodworking, and finishing processes are meticulously accomplished by local craftsman to guarantee the highest quality.
