HISTORY

Jay Ebersole began working in the cabinet industry in 1972. He gained his knowledge while installing cabinets for Nauman Construction, Inc. In 1978, he and his wife, Linda, founded Conestoga Country Kitchens. For the first several years, he designed and installed cabinets himself, while his wife, Linda handled the book work. As the business grew, employees were hired and in 1990, they began finishing the cabinets themselves to ensure a higher quality. In 1992, the business had outgrown the garage it had operated in and was moved to its current location at 529 Strasburg Pike, Lancaster, PA. At this time, they began manufacturing their own custom cabinets. Additional employees have helped the business continue to grow, and in 1999, two of Jay and Linda’s three children, Rosalyn and Ryan became involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Their son, Randall, is employed by Mesa Airlines as a pilot. Today, the business continues to grow and expand its market outside of Lancaster County. It provides individually designed, high quality, handmade and finished custom cabinets to the remodel and new construction clientèle. With the help of quality employees and subcontractors, a reputation has been built that will last.
